Nomination Statement
The son of Michael and Lauren Wilson of Wilmington, Matthew is ranked first in his class and will graduate with nine college credits as part of the Early College Academy in addition to four Advanced Placement classes. Matthew's passion for running has made him an impactful leader of the cross country, winter track, and spring track teams. He has an exceptional work ethic and a natural drive for success that make him a valued classmate and student in the classroom. His kindness and willness to help make him a favorite among his peers. Matthew plans to study physical therapy in college.
