Nomination Statement
Khadijat is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Programme, and she has embraced many of the IB Learner Profile characteristics while participating in the IB Programme. She is inquiring, knowledgeable and open-minded. During her high school career, she has been involved in tennis and is the co-founder of our African Diaspora Association. Khadijat has been inducted in the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society for her outstanding academic achievement. She also has a strong sense of community and is involved in many organizations outside of school. Khadijat intends to study biology and become a physician's assistant.
“I have always been driven by growth, pushing myself to reach new heights and believing there was always more to uncover, discover, and learn. My academic growth is fueled by my curiosity and desire to simply know more. Although perfection is impossible, each day is a chance to develop, gain new experiences, and expand my understanding. It is through such experiences that I hope to not only better myself but also the world around me.”
