Nomination Statement
Daughter of Stacey and Nick Grez, Keelie Rowan Grez is a driven and goal-oriented student. She is ranked first in her class with a 4.77 GPA. Keelie is able to maintain this while participating in sports, extracurricular activities, volunteering and work. She is an IB Diploma student who is a member of BPA, varsity and club swim teams and a recreational volleyball team and participates in service projects such as making mats for the homeless. Keelie plans to attend college to major in chemical engineering as she would like to develop new products for a cosmetics corporation and travel internationally.
“My greatest motivators and biggest system of support are my parents. My dad's work ethic is a testament to what it means to be motivated, by achieving great successes through dedication. His perseverance has inspired me to work hard to cultivate a present and future that I am proud of. My parents' support and encouragement have provided a foundation for me to build my confidence in myself to know that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.”
