Nomination Statement
Son of Audrey and Jeffrey Forjan, Evan Forjan is a highly motivated and talented student leader. He is ranked first in his class with a 4.7653 cumulative grade point average. He is a Ben Carson Fund Scholarship Recipient and a four-time Ben Carson Fund Recognized student. Evan also represents Indian River High School as a remarkable musician. He is a Tri- M Music Honor Society member and is the drum major of the marching band. Evan will be pursuing a degree in physics.
“I have always enjoyed the challenge of education and the puzzle of learning something new. From calculus to chemistry to U.S. history I find that gaining knowledge and understanding within an academic setting brings me great satisfaction. I suppose it is this feeling of satisfaction, along with the intrigue of education, that motivates me to strive towards academic achievement. Achievement, that is only possible through the support of my loving family and friends.”
