Nomination Statement
Daughter of Robert and Dava Newnam, Eva Newnam is exemplary as one of DMA's highest achieving cadets. She has earned an impressive 4.43 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. As a DMA's NJROTC program member, she advanced quickly through the ranks and earned the position of regimental operational risk officer. Eva has incredible school spirit and has been active in many clubs and programs, including the Resilient Minds Mental Health club, drill team, and the NAFTrack Breakfast Program, serving as manager. Cadet Newnam's post-high school plans are to attend Penn State or the University of Delaware to pursue a degree in business. Bravo Zulu!

From late nights creating models for my elementary school projects to late nights doing delta math for Advanced Placement Calculus, they've been right by my side every step of the way. Their feats of strength and unyielding drive to succeed have set the archetype for who I strive to be. I am forever grateful for my parents guiding and supporting me through all phases of my life.”
