Nomination Statement
Brandon Marquez Rojas is an exemplary young man, student and athlete. With a 4.32 GPA, he is currently ranked first in his class of 376 students. Brandon is an information technology student who plans to pursue a career in computer science. He relates his academic success to his persistence in outdoor and cross country track since his sophomore year. Brandon aspires to one day improve existing systems in the workplace utilizing his math skills. He has an outstanding work ethic and gets along well with everyone. Brandon plans to attend college at the University of Delaware in the fall.
“I have always valued persistence and dedication in pursing my goals. Seeing my mom and dad work hard every day has made me appreciate the opportunity I have to study and further my education. Their strong perseverance sets an admirable example for me to follow daily in and out of school. in school, my computer science class has reinforced the importance of diligence and commitment to my academic goals and work no matter what challenges I face.”
