
Nomination Statement
Tejasvi Gottipati, daughter of Phanendra and Punnaga Gottipati of Townsend, is ranked first in her class with a 4.625 cumulative grade point average. She is an active leader in both school and community activities. Her dedication to the Girls Scout organization culminated in a project that aimed to raise awareness about skin cancer prevention. By creating and distributing sun safety brochures and presentations to students in grades 3-12 both in Delaware and India, Tejasvi demonstrated her ability to engage with diverse communities and address important health issues on a global scale. Tejasvi will attend Columbia University in the fall.
