Nomination Statement
Daughter of Uday and Neepa Jani, Riya is the epitome of determination. She is intellectually-curious, compassionate and admired by staff and students alike. She is ranked highest in her graduating class with a 4.78 weighted cumulative grade point average. Riya intends to go to college to major in biology and eventually become a Doctor of Medicine.

It was my dad who taught me to be tenacious, my mom whose strength and kindness inspires my character, and my sister, whose unwavering support never made me feel alone in any challenge I faced. While I know life is full of difficulties, I will carry the lessons I learned from the people I love to continue to grow. ”
