Nomination Statement
Freire is built on 3 pillars - college prepatory academics, a commitment to non-violence, and community through our Freire Family. Quintin Williams is an exemplar model of what it means to be a student at Freire. Throughout his time here, Quintin has remained at the top of his class academically, ensured student voice representation as Class and Executive President in Student Government, served through community service in National Honor Society, and pushed for equity in Multicultural Club and our Gender-Sexuality Alliance. He is a leader in and out of the classroom. We could not be more proud.
“Throughout high school, Quintin has strived to embrace who he is and share his story. Every year, Quintin excels academically. He particularly enjoys his English classes, where he can express himself through his writing. Outside of the classroom, Quintin is involved. From Student Government to Movie Club, Quintin is an active participant and a leader. After high school, Quintin would like to pursue communications at an out-of-state school to help share his stories with the world. ”
