Nomination Statement
Daughter of Patricia and Chris Dukes, Peyton Dukes is analytical and ambitious. She desires to major in computer science as she would like to become a data analyst. Though she has not made a final decision, she is fairly certain she will attend the University of Delaware next year.
“Growing up I have never questioned my academic ability. However, I have always struggled to do things out of my comfort zone, making it hard to take advantage of the opportunities presented to me. That said, my parents have been extremely influential in my success by pushing me out of my comfort zone countless times, allowing me to experience things that shaped the person I am today and teaching me that these opportunities are never as scary as they seem.”
