Nomination Statement
Peter came to the United States in August of 2021. With limited English, he has been able to excel and be recognized at the top of his class. He has proven to be resilient and driven as he has succeeded in everything he has done. He will be majoring in theology, and upon completion of his ESL classes at Del Tech, he will be accepted to Andrews University. Peers state, "He is super smart, honest, reliable, responsible, and a high achiever." He is truly a role model for the student body.
“Always give your best and never give up. I have repeated this countless times throughout my life. Someone important to me once said, 'We are used to settling, why not to aspire for the best?' That really made me reflect on how we can feel in this life. For that reason I aim higher and 'giving up' will not be in my dictionary. I am convinced that with God's help we can always give the best of ourselves.”
