Nomination Statement
Son of Andrew and Dawn Riggi, Nicholas Riggi has epitomized the meaning of a scholar/athlete. He is one of the most accomplished leaders in his class, serving as secretary of TSA, Spanish Club vice president, Math League historian, cross country captain, and the founder of the Lake Forest Running Club. Further, Nicholas is also a three-sport athlete, competing in cross country, swimming, and track & field. Most notably, Nicholas is a Boy Scout Senior Patrol Leader and has competed at Worlds for OM. Nicholas plans to major in forensic science at West Virginia University, pursuing a career as a forensic investigator.

When I feel like it's all too much, she reignites the competitive spirit within me. Even in the toughest of times, my sister is persistent and never lets anything get her down, and I aspire to be just like her. ”
