Nomination Statement
Molly Campion, daughter of Sandy and Jake Campion of Newark, is a personable and conscientious student who excels academically and athletically. Molly has maintained a 4.0 GPA or higher every year and is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate. Molly has been the secretary of the Student Council for the past two years and is a member of the National Honors Society. Molly is also on the swimming, volleyball, and lacrosse teams. Molly's passion for working with and caring for young children began when she started coaching young swimmers during the summer. Molly plans to attend the University of Virginia as a nursing student with dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.
“Throughout my life, I have harbored a constant determination to become the most outstanding student, athlete, and above all, individual possible. However, it's not my personal conviction that's paved my life; my parents and friends have played an invaluable role in my journey to success. Without their support, I wouldn't have accomplished what I have today. In the next chapters of our lives, it's important to hold those closest to us tightly; we need them more than we'll ever know.”
