Nomination Statement
Khang Nguyen, son of Hannah Pham and Dustin Nguyen, is a hardworking student who works to be a dedicated, well-rounded scholar. He currently serves as the vice president of the Smyrna High Business Professionals of America chapter and historian of the Smyrna High School Student Government Association, while also playing varsity tennis and participating in a litany of other clubs, such as Technology Student Association, Math League, and Debate Club. In his free time, he volunteers at the Food Bank of Delaware and plays various racket sports. He knows he will major in computer science but is undecided on where he will attend.
“As a student, I strive to be an educated, successful scholar. This means that I give my all to all the things I do. I want to do a lot of things, and I want to do them well. This mentality has brought me through high school, and I hope it will help me succeed in college. Staying motivated and disciplined is and will be the key to my success.”
