Nomination Statement
Josh DeLuca is a senior in his 3rd year at the Christina School District Virtual Academy. He is the son of Stephanie and Jack DeLuca.Josh was accepted to Goldey-Beacom College and Susquehanna University with significant scholarship awards.
Josh excels in literary analysis, which shines through in his assignments. In addition to excelling in history, Josh is president of the creative writing club and is committed to volunteering at the Brandywine SPCA.
Josh believes working at your own pace and taking ownership of your education really contributes to his success in the VA program. He has a very bright future!

My mom has told me whenever I failed, 'No matter what you do, the world will keep spinning' and that has allowed me to grow from failure and reach greater heights because of it. My dad always was proud of me no matter what I did, and I can only hope I can continue that even now that he is gone.”
