Nomination Statement
Son of Adetutu and Tunde Kehinde of Nigeria, Folashayo Kehinde is a hardworking and ambitious student. He strives to be outstanding in all he does. He is ranked fourth in his graduating class with a 4.3 cumulative grade point average. He is also an active member of William Penn's TSA club and was a part of the Soccer team in the fall. Folashayo has spent the last two summers working as a software engineering intern, most recently at JPMorgan Chase. He plans to attend college to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
“My parents' support and constant belief in me have motivated me to always try my hardest. My mother has always said, 'Don't believe the sky is the limit, because your mind is the limit.' In times of struggle, these words have comforted me knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. No matter what happens in a day, it is only 24 hours long.”
