Enrique is the son of Lorena Gutierrez of Tenancingo, Mexico. Enrique is an extremely hard-working, ambitious and thoughtful student. A natural leader, Enrique puts forth his best effort in everything that he does. He is a captain on the football team and a star sprinter on the track team. Enrique is ranked first in his class and has earned more than $1 million in Academic Merit Scholarships offers. Enrique will major in biomedical sciences and plans to have a career in genetics. Enrique plans to attend the University of Pennsylvania or the University of North Carolina.

The culture was so different as well as the language. I have always looked for solutions, and I knew I could overcome any barriers that were in my way. Through hard work, perseverance and the help of many kind, caring people I have started my own American dream.”
