Nomination Statement
Daughter of Chris and Christina Lea of Pike Creek, Caitlyn has a weighted GPA of 5.238 and is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate. Caitlyn served as co-editor-in-chief of Dickinson's Literary Magazine, co-founder of Dickinson's Book Club, is a National Honor Society Member, and four-year member of the varsity cheerleading squad. She is a leader, a committed friend, and always seeks to do what is right. She plans to major in communications in college although she is still undecided on where she will attend in the fall.
Throughout life I have always believed that everything happens for a reason. I think each little event in everyone's lives eventually has a later effect whether it be positive or negative. With this outlook on life I have been able to at times explain something that has otherwise been unexpected. It has allowed me to experience life to its fullest effect, with soaking in each moment both in determination and reflection.
