Nomination Statement
Daughter of Charles and Heather Kerrick, Avery Kerrick is a determined and ambitious student at Woodbridge High School. Avery is involved in FFA where she is the president, Key Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, PBS, Select Ensemble, Student Government Association, theatre, field hockey, and yearbook. She maintains her high GPA and class rank by taking Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses at Woodbridge High school while also maintaining her busy extracurricular schedule. Avery plans to attend Delaware Valley University to major in agricultural education.
“Growing up on a dairy farm has instilled my passion for success. I have been caring for livestock the majority of my life. I have been given a plethora of responsibilities that have allowed me to develop attributes that are necessary to achieve my goals. These include dedication, thinking critically, communication, time management skills, and a superior work ethic. These characteristics have helped me to achieve goals I have set for myself in my academic and personal life.”
