Nomination Statement
Daughter of Krishna Kambhampati and Viraja Prabhala, Ananya is ranked top of her graduating class with a 4.65 GPA. Ananya's musical talents in playing the piano and clarinet have contributed to the Middletown High School Marching Band's success. Ananya demonstrated remarkable growth through her extracurricular activities in various clubs, including the National Honor Society, HOSA, Environmental Club, and Youth in Government. Her role as a Science Pathway Ambassador has fostered her leadership and communication skills. She received the Presidential Award and was recognized as a National AP Scholar. Ananya will study nursing at the University of Pennsylvania.
“My parents are my source of inspiration as they taught me education is the key to a good life. Growing up, I've seen my family and friends living successful lives because of their hard work. Watching my parents build their lives in America has been one of my foundational reasons for wanting to do well. Their constant support and concerns inspired me to work harder. When life gets difficult now, I think of them, knowing that I can accomplish anything.”
