Nomination Statement
Aidan Fredericks is characterized by his peers and teachers as kind, empathetic, and motivated to do well. During Aidan's time at POCS, Aidan excelled academically, achieving honor roll many times during his time. He is currently interning at Big Lots as a way to gain practical job skills. Aidan has decided to pursue a degree in English literature in hopes that one day he will become an accomplished fiction writer or a screenplay writer. Aidan's future plans are to attend Delaware Technical Community College in the fall and transfer into the University of Delaware.
“In my life, I have been inspired by a lot of things. A key inspiration of mine is liberal arts. The reason is that I have always found topics such as literature and entertainment really fascinating. Such topics as comics, novels, shows, and screenplays have fueled my ambition to finish school and have inspired me to get a degree in writing. The importance of education serves as a stepping stone toward overall success when it comes to achieving your goals.”
