Nomination Statement
Sami is the daughter of Venkat and Saroja Vallury of Middletown. She is passionate about exploring different fields and finding ways to study the intersection between them. She is a member of Business Professionals of America and Science Olympiad, is the co-president of Speech and Debate Club, and is the secretary of NHS. Sami also holds the position of national secretary within the Technology Student Association. After graduation, Sami plans on pursuing computer science at a four-year university.
“My parents have always been encouraging of my academic journey. They first instilled the value of education within me, and since then, I've always strived to do my best in whatever I take on. I face every challenge with a positive attitude, and that has been the greatest asset in my endeavors, along with the strong support system I have. I owe much to the many teachers, advisors, and friends who have helped me along the way.”
