Nomination Statement
Christiana High School is honored to share in the hard work and academic success of Olivia Agu as she represents the top of her class. Olivia has participated in volleyball, cheerleading, and soccer. She is also a member of Business Professionals of America and the National Honor Society. In BPA, Olivia won annual awards at the state level, qualifying for national competitions. She has maintained over a 4.0 GPA and plans to pursue a career in medicine. She has earned scholarships ranging from $31,000 to $44,000 based on merit.
“My biggest inspiration is myself and my family. My parents are both in the medical field, inspiring me to help others. Before helping others, I need to first better myself. Doing well in school would improve my future education, whether attending college with little to no debt or having an education that would give me a competitive advantage. Over time, working hard and striving for greatness became a part of me. I want to be excellent.”
