Nomination Statement
Daughter of Ram and Madhavi Ratnagiri, Meera is an undeniable leader at Concord with diverse experiences and genuine care for all. With a 4.65 GPA, Meera ranks second in her class. Meera is the president of Concord’s Interact Club and Science National Honor Society. Meera is vice president of Concord’s National Honor Society and treasurer of Student Council. Meera is a National Biology Olympiad semifinalist. Meera is a dedicated Indian classical dancer, having performed throughout the US and in India, as well as a cellist with the Philadelphia Sinfonia Orchestra. Meera intends to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
“My drive to do well comes from my want to fulfill the goals and aspirations I set for myself. My parents have always encouraged me to explore beyond the classroom, allowing me to find my passions. While in high school I found enjoyment in learning as well as giving back to the community to build a future where I will be able to help others and pursue a career I am passionate about.”
