Nomination Statement
Daughter of Gerald and Patience, Glory Forbi is a hardworking, brilliant, and multifaceted individual who embraces challenges with resilience. She believes the sky's the limit and strives for excellence in all she does. Glory set her standard of excellence early on in her educational career. She set forth a plan to excel, and she has done nothing less than that. She continues to amaze as one of our starters for the women's basketball team, while maintaining a 4.0 average in one of our most difficult career areas. She is a true testament to the Howard Way.
“Growing up, I've always wanted the best for myself and I've always feared failure. While facing adversity, I pushed myself with the phrase of 'failure is not an option." Despite hardships, my goals push me to never give up, and that as long as I keep waking up, it's something majorly planned for me and it's shown. Surrounding myself with people who want to see me genuinely win is a very big blessing.”
